Teacher responsibilities:
- To develop and follow a teaching plan including unit and day plans
- To create and utilize a number of activities that allow for extension of in class instruction (i.e. application and hands on learning)
- To keep open communication with parents.
- To be available for community building events and fundraisers that are sometimes scheduled for evenings and weekends.
- To adapt and work to meet the individual needs of each child
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- OCT, ECE or demonstrable relevant teaching experience
- A current & original Police Vulnerable Sector Check from the police jurisdiction where you reside
- Minimum 2 years experience in a teaching environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Great classroom management skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
