Ariela has been a dedicated professional in the social services field since 2004, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the community.
Her commitment to professional development is evident through her certifications, which include Dual Diagnosis and a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy micro-credential. Beyond professional development certifications, Ariela a certified CPI instructor, Dialectical Behaviour Skills facilitator, and life coach.
Ariela's professional journey began by supporting dual-diagnosed adolescents and adults in a treatment-supported living program, followed by working at an eating disorders day treatment program. She later transitioned to a role in a local school board, initially serving as a Child & Youth Worker and later as an Intervention Support Worker on an Interdisciplinary Team, supporting classroom teams to build staff capacity in working with the board’s most complex students.
Ariela's passion lies in working with neurodiverse individuals, particularly those with co-morbid diagnoses. Her belief in the inherent value of every individual, regardless of ability or diagnosis, is the driving force behind her work.
Ariela's mission is to help families & professional care providers understand their loved one's challenging behaviour and unique needs while guiding and supporting them along their caregiving journey.
