Farm and Forest School – Fall and Winter Sessions

Jireh Hills Family Homestead is running our Fall and Winters Sessions - Farm and Forest School for children ages 5+.  Located just SW of London, Ontario

Parents are welcome to stay and learn with us!

Every Thursday, 10am - 2pm

8 weeks total per Season

BYO lunch

Cost is $60 per student per day with Seasonal pre-registration (8 weeks = $480)

Additional child (same family) is 1/2 price

DROP-IN Dates are limited (cost $75 per child)

Raising Dairy Goats

Milking Chores

Making Cheese

Raising Alpacas for Meat, Fibre and Fun

Horse Handling & Communication with Body Language

Herb Craft - includes soap making

Gardening - starting our seeds

Little Critters - includes incubating chicks

As a former secondary school teacher, homeschooling mom for 18+ years, 1st generation homesteader for 13+ years, Cheryl, has designed this program as an inspiring and hands-on curriculum to develop practical skills into growing our own food.  Together with her husband, John Mark, and their 8 children (ages 6 to 22 years old), this family works together, teaches, and assists other families with raising the next generation of learners with a focus on family, hard work and life-long learning.
